Linda Lorelle

CEO / Executive Producer
Award Winning Story Teller

Lorelle Media opened its doors in March of 2009 with Linda Lorelle as the CEO and Executive Producer.  Lorelle is an Emmy and Gracie award-winning broadcast journalist with 20 years of experience as a reporter, prime time anchor and producer of compelling programming.  She received two B.A.s from Stanford University, one in Developmental Psychology, the other in Italian Language, and an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  Linda’s passion for giving a voice to the voiceless, and finding a good story to tell in a memorable way, led her to found Lorelle Media.  Most recently, Linda has used her podcast, Our Voices Matter, to have intimate conversations that remind us of our common humanity.

And now for the fun stuff…what’s not on the “official” resume.  Linda grew up on the South Side of Chicago (a few blocks away from Michelle Obama) and took her first ballet class at 4.  She danced professionally in modern and jazz dance companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago and Denver, once performed with Maya Angelou and Ray Charles (on the same night), and auditioned for “A Chorus Line” and other major musicals on Broadway.  She got her Actor’s Equity card doing musical theater in Chicago…playing a man.  Ballroom is her most recent dance passion, before she learned Italian she was fluent in French, and at one time she wanted to be a professional tennis player.  She and her husband, Lou Gregory, have a talented, beautiful daughter named Lindsey — and 370+ additional “kids” to whom their non-profit, Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund (LLSF), has awarded more than $4.5 million in college scholarships since 1991.  Her bucket list includes attending all four tennis grand slam championships, being a contestant on Dancing With the Stars (if only they would call her!!), and ensuring that the LLSF will live on long after she and Lou are gone.  That last one is about to happen. In December of 2021, Linda and Lou announced that they are in the process of handing over the organization to the next generation. Several former Lorelle Scholars and Lindsey will soon usher in LLSF 2.0!
